About Me

Cypher (she/her) is a self-taught brown and queer Tamizh diaspora writer living in Canada. Her writing is deeply musical, political, philosophical, and introspective. Her work has been featured by the Wildscape Literary Journal, OTHERSIDE, FLARE Magazine, Livina Press, FeelsZine and several other publications. ​You can find Cypher on Instagram @cypherspace_101. 

During the day, Cypher works as an engineer. However, in every other available moment, Cypher dedicates herself to the arts and to her communities. Aside from writing and reading, Cypher loves to draw and create graphic designs. In her spare time, she watches local music and theatre performances, spends time with her father and brother, and hangs out with her friends.
